I discovered EvoGear the other day, and found that it’s a website about snowboarding. I’m not so much of a sports person but to Ride snowboards is always a puzzle to me. With the snow and snowboards I’ve seen on TV and read at magazines, I had to admit, I want to try it at least for once in my life. Would I be able to pull this off? How do you keep your balance? Of course you would take lessons first before going through it all right? How many days would I take the lessons before riding a snowboard?

I can’t forget the day my Hubby told me that our new 500GB hardisk crashed. All of my backup files were there – photos, MP3’s, movies, important documents, emails and more. 10 years worth of files are all in that HD. I was devastated. I cried for one week thinking of all those files. Then I realized that I’ve backup a couple of files to a blank DVD-R and even in blank CD-R 5 years ago. Yes, I’ve been so paranoid with HD crashes that everytime new files would be created, I would back it up.

But huge hardisks came and I would just back my files through that. That was my big mistake. I was relieved when I checked out my backups, I still got my kids’ baby pictures and our travel photos which are priceless to me! At least SOME of my files were still recovered thanks to those blank CD’s and DVD’s. Now I’m looking at sites such as GotMedia.com and see if there are other options where I can store my files. I’ve checked out VideoHelp for tips and tutorials. Now I’m back to the old way of backing up my files! But it’s ok, at least now I’m assured that what ever happens to my HD, I’m assured that my DVD’s are still there. With this, I would definitely check out GotMedia.com every now and then!

Recently, while I was browsing the internet I discovered that there is a beauty school in Wichita that is worth checking out. Especially to those who want to pursue their dreams of learning more about beauty and salon. Enrolling in Regency Beauty Institute would be a great start since it continues to expand after all those years. I’ve read that now, Regency has a growing network of campuses all over. They had established placement relationships, from salons to cruise ships and runways. And because of that Regency graduates are recognized and sought after all throughout the US. How cool is that? Doing what you love and at the same time getting paid? That would be a dream job for me. Something that I would want to do for the rest of my life.
