Panasonic’s Lumix LX3

By admin On August 12th, 2010

For the camera enthusiasts, this is probably a beauty.

Presenting Panasonic’s Lumix LX3. A great find after reading a whole bunch of camera reviews. Most of the reviews are raving about this digital camera. I’ve actually held a couple of SLR Cameras but I find it too heavy and if you are traveling, it would be a hassle bringing such. Not to mention the tripod that goes with the heavy SLR. But with Lumix, it is very compact and light. One of the reviewer mentioned that this one has everything – RAW capture, wide angle (24mm), fast lens (f2.0), and reasonable noise level. There are a lot of options with regards to features and functionalities but I think this one held my heart, for now.

The Cordless Laser Scanner.

Hubby and I are thinking of getting a printer and a scanner. I’ve been looking for options and I came across ls4278 by Symbol. What I like about this is that it’s cordless, it is powered with BlueTooth Class 2 wireless technology. It also provides secure wireless data transmission back to the host with a broader reading and working range than other scanners in its class. We need it for home use so we don’t really need those huge and expensive scanners. My friend mentioned that we can even get a printer and scanner in one. I better look for that too. If not, will probably get this one from symbol.

Tablet PCs

When I first bought our laptop computer, I was so proud of being able to save up and finally own a laptop. It used to be so expensive that I had to save up for 6 months! Now, surprisingly, laptops are affordable and there are also a lot of options to choose from. I particularly like the mini laptops or the netbooks. Table PCs are also a good choice especially for web designers. This Samsung Q1 Ultra – XP Tablet PC is quite different from the tablet PCs I saw from the mall.

It looks handy and compact. It has 7″ Wide WSVGA 1024 x 600 Resolution, Touch Screen LCD. It has a power of a PC (Intel® Ultra Mobile Processor A110 800MHz Clock/400MHz FSB) but in a small gadget, with dimensions of 8.96″ x 4.88″ x 0.93″. It even has a camera that allows you to do front facing video chat (300P) and rear facing video. It allows you to get still pictures for 1.3MP. It’s so light! It’s only 1.52 lbs but can store up to 60 GB.

As for the user interface, it has the following features: 8-Way Direction Button & Mouse Function, 4-User Defined Keys, Volume Control, Quick Launch Menu Button, and Camera Shutter Button. Looks like a GRAND choice to me!

His Greatest Dream.

By admin On March 5th, 2010

Well, Hubby’s dream that is.

His greatest dream is to own a flat screen TV. This would be great for the entertainment centers that we want in our dream house. I know everything seems to be a dream. But there is no harm in dreaming right? That’s the nice thing about this blog is that I can write all my dreams and Hubby’s here. And then in a few years, I would look back and see if I was able to reach these dreams.

So, now, a flat screen TV in an entertainment center, NOT a bad dream at all!

Samsung Phones

By admin On March 5th, 2010

I have been using a Samsung phone for years before I switched to a Nokia phone. I can say that I really like my samsung phone except for the keypads that didn’t work after 2 years of using it. The interface was so simple I’ve learned to use it in a day or two. Now that I saw the new samsung phones, it makes me want to switch. I’ve been looking for a phone with a QWERTY keyboard so I ended up with Nokia E71. The new Samsung phones look really nice, durable, and offer a lot of features that wouldn’t find in other brands.

So now, I’m thinking, should I switch?

Look What I’ve Got!

And it has been very useful!

I love it when I do my exercise in the morning. When I travel on the plane alone. When I drive the car. It has been my constant companion ever since!
