Everything Great and Grand.

Now, I’m sure you would agree if I say that this is one of the grandest thing I’ve ever seen in the Bicol region. It’s almost perfect cone shape makes it more special. I’ve seen Mayon Volcano a lot of times already but it never fails to amaze me. The photo above taken by my husband, didn’t actually give justice to the volcano. It was breath-taking!

The volcano is still active though and has recently erupted last December of 2009. Many people living near the area evacuated. The view of the volcano while it was erupting was magnificent but scared thousands of people there.
